oil on gesso ground, hard-board base, signed H Ogilvie and dated ‘63, recto of frame with various labels including small one in red with red ink inscription - artist Helen Ogilvie / Title - Houses waiting for demolition; a further label for the Commonwealth Festival exhibition, Nottingham 1966, repeating the title, and naming the owners asthe Leicester Galleries and with the catalogue number 20, with a furher Ernest Brown and Phillips Ltd, The Leicester Galleries label

Provenance probably acquired from The Leicester Galleries along with the other three in 1967 and thence by descent

mounted on velvet in a box frame, presumably made for the exhibition
